Terms of Service

01Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Ishan Patil, operating as ZOR (“ZOR”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your use of the ZOR mobile application and the website joinzor.com (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02The Service

ZOR is an AI-powered fitness and nutrition coaching app. It generates personalised workout plans and meal plans, tracks nutrition and hydration, computes wellness and recovery scores, provides a conversational AI coach, and produces periodic performance reports. Features vary by subscription plan, and we may add, change, or remove features over time.

03Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you are 18 or older and legally capable of entering into this agreement. The Service involves physical exercise and dietary guidance intended for adults.

04Accounts

  • You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
  • You agree to provide accurate profile information. Coaching quality depends on it, and inaccurate health inputs can produce unsuitable recommendations.
  • One free trial is available per person. Attempting to circumvent trial limits (e.g. by creating multiple accounts) is a violation of these Terms.

05Subscriptions, trials & billing

  • Free trial. New users receive a 3-day free trial with full feature access. No payment is required to start the trial. When the trial ends, access to paid features stops unless you subscribe.
  • Plans. ZOR offers paid subscription tiers (currently Premium and Ultra) with different AI usage allowances and features. Current pricing is displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
  • Billing through Apple. Subscriptions are purchased through, billed by, and managed in your Apple App Store account. Payment is charged to your Apple ID on confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancellation. Cancel anytime in your device's subscription settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds. Purchases made through the App Store are subject to Apple's refund policies; refund requests are made through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Usage limits. AI generation features (workouts, meals, recipes, macro estimates, coach messages, reports) are subject to fair-use allowances that vary by plan. We may adjust allowances to keep the Service sustainable; material reductions will be communicated.
  • Promo codes. Promotional codes are single-use, non-transferable, have no cash value, and may be subject to additional conditions and usage caps.

06Medical disclaimer

ZOR is not a medical service. ZOR provides general fitness and nutritional information generated by artificial intelligence. This information is provided for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult a physician or qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new diet or fitness program, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions, injuries, are pregnant, or take medication. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something the Service told you. If you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or discomfort while exercising, stop immediately and seek medical attention.

07AI-generated content

Workout routines, meal plans, recipes, macro estimates, recovery suggestions, coach responses, and performance reports are dynamically generated by large language models (LLMs). AI can occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or physically unrealistic output.

  • You are responsible for validating that any exercise, weight, or movement is safe for your own physical limits and experience level.
  • You are responsible for verifying that generated meals comply with your allergies and dietary restrictions before eating. ZOR biases generation around the restrictions you configure, but AI output is not guaranteed to be free of a given ingredient.
  • Nutrition figures (including barcode and photo estimates) are estimates, not lab measurements.

By using the Service you acknowledge these limitations and assume responsibility for how you act on AI-generated content. Listen to your body and use common sense.

08Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, trial restrictions, or subscription gates.
  • Probe, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use the AI coach to generate content unrelated to fitness/wellness in a manner that abuses the Service, or attempt to extract our prompts or models.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful, or that contains another person's personal data without permission.
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a service bureau.

09Your content & feedback

  • Your data stays yours. You retain all rights to the content you submit (logs, photos, messages). You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • Share cards. If you share workout, meal, or score cards to social platforms, that sharing is your choice and governed by the receiving platform's terms.
  • Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation.

10Intellectual property

The Service - including the app, website, ZOR name and wordmark, design, software, and content we create - is owned by ZOR and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

11Third-party services

The Service integrates third-party services, each governed by its own terms:

  • Exercise video search is powered by YouTube and subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
  • Barcode nutrition data comes from the Open Food Facts database.
  • Apple Health and Health Connect integrations are governed by Apple's and Google's respective platform terms.
  • Subscriptions are processed by Apple under Apple's Media Services Terms.

We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their content.

12Termination

  • You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account in-app (Settings → About & Legal → Delete account).
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or where required by law. Where practical, we will notify you and give you a chance to export or delete your data.
  • Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and IP provisions) survive.

13Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES.

14Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZOR AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES - INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM YOUR EXERCISE OR DIETARY CHOICES, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF PROFITS - ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

15General terms

  • Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we will provide notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
  • Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which ZOR's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to do so later.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and ZOR regarding the Service.
  • Apple as third-party beneficiary. These Terms are between you and ZOR, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the app and is not responsible for addressing claims relating to it, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
