Frequently asked questions
How does the free trial work?
Every new account gets a 3-day trial with full access to all features - no payment details required to start. One trial per person. When the trial ends, you can subscribe to keep going.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. Open Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, select ZOR, and change or cancel there. Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the current billing period. For refunds, use Apple's Report a Problem page - App Store purchases are refunded by Apple, not by us directly.
How do I connect Apple Health?
Open the Today tab and tap the health/recovery card, or go to Settings and enable the health connection. iOS will show a permission sheet where you choose exactly which data types ZOR may read (steps, sleep, heart rate, HRV, workouts, weight). You can change or revoke access anytime in the iOS Health app under Sharing → Apps.
Why is my ZOR Score missing a Recovery value?
The Recovery pillar needs health data - sleep, HRV, or resting heart rate - from Apple Health. If you haven't connected Health (or your device doesn't record those metrics), ZOR gracefully computes your score from the remaining pillars. Connecting a watch or sleep tracker unlocks the full four-pillar score.
How accurate are the AI macro estimates?
Text and photo estimates are good-faith approximations - great for consistent daily tracking, but not lab measurements. Barcode scans pull data from the Open Food Facts database and are typically the most precise. When accuracy really matters, prefer the barcode scanner or verify against the package label.
Can I edit what the AI coach remembers about me?
Yes. Open the Coach tab → Coach Memory to see everything ZOR has learned: observations, patterns, and coaching preferences. You can edit or remove entries, and the coach adjusts immediately.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Settings → About & Legal → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, history, streaks, coach memory, reports, photos, and credentials - it cannot be undone. If you can't access the app, email support@joinzor.com from your account email. Step-by-step details are on our account deletion page.
Does ZOR work offline or with a weak connection?
Logging sets during a workout is resilient to spotty connectivity - your in-session data isn't lost when the network drops. AI generation (new workouts, meals, coach chat) needs a connection, since the heavy lifting happens securely in the cloud.
Is ZOR available on Android?
ZOR is built for both platforms, and the iOS version is launching first. Android (with Health Connect integration) is coming soon - email us if you'd like to be notified.
I have a promo code. Where do I enter it?
Open Settings → App Settings → Promo code and enter your code. Codes can unlock premium access or performance-report credits, and each code works once per account.
